US Weekly Jobless Claims slips lower after previous week’s figure revised higher
Weekly Jobless claims slipped to 404K when compared to the previous week’s 405K (revised from 401K). The figure was in line with the expected 405K.
Continuing Jobless claims was down to 3.670million from the previous 3.725million (revised from 3.7 million).
Separately Trade Balance data from the US showed that trade deficit at 45.61 billion, by and large remained in line with the previous 45.63 billion (revised from 44.8 billion).
