Swiss inflation rises from the previous month
Inflation in Switzerland was higher than expected compared to the previous month, data showed on Thursday. The Federal Statistics Office also showed that consumer prices fell in March from a year ago.
CPI m/m rose 0.6% in March from 0.3%, versus consensus for 0.4% but CPI y/y fell 1.0% versus a forecast for a 1.1% drop, from a 0.9% decrease previously.
