Spain sells 1.9 billion euro in short term notes; yields tick higher
A Spanish auction conducted earlier today attracted bids for 1.9 billion euro - towards the upper 2 billion euro target; target that had been reduced from 3 billion euro to 2 billion ahead of the auction.
Yields ticked higher as well; 3-month bills sold off at an average 0.634% (previous 0.381%), while 6-month bills sold off at an average 1.58% (previous 0.836%).
Current benchmark 10-yr Spanish yields at 5.939%.
