Preliminary Michigan sentiment lower than forecast
A preliminary reading of consumer sentiment for April by the University of Michigan was lower than expected and eased from March’s final reading.
Michigan consumer sentiment preliminary fell to 75.7 in April versus consensus for 76.2, down from 76.2 in March.
