Industrial Production falls less than expected
German Industrial Production for the month of March was lower than the previous month but beat consensus for a fall to 0.5%. Total industrial production m/m was 0.7% down from 1.6% in February.
The total industrial production is an index that measures the quantities produced by companies, factories, constructions and/or quarries. This is a measure of industrial production that excludes energy and food industries.
EUR/USD was fairly muted after the data trading in a range between 1.4548 – 1.4538.
