French Inflation Rises in March
The Headline Inflation number rose higher in France in March. Annual Final HICP was up to 2.2% from 1.8% against expectations for 2.0%. HICP m/m also rose to 0.9% from 0.5% versus consensus for 0.7%.
EUR/USD traded up to a fresh daily high of 1.4498 on the release of inflation data and went even higher close to its 15-month high since then.
