Existing home sales rise in December
Sales of existing homes rose in the United States in December, data showed on Friday. The figures published by the National Association of Realtors showed the total number of units sold increased, but the rise came just shy of expectations.
Existing home sales m/m was up to 5.0% versus a consensus for 5.2%, from 4.0%. Existing home sales increased to 4.61 mln from 4.42 mln, but lower than the expected 4.65 mln.
