Canadian wholesale trade rises 0.2% for the month of June
For the month of June wholesale trades rose 0.2% compared to the previous 1.9% and the expected -0.5%.
Despite the rise Statistics Canada reported that much of the rise was accounted for by higher prices that were partly attributable to the CAD’s decline last month.
USD/CAD initially rose but the move was soon reversed as the pair moves lower at the time of writing.
