Security is critical for any Internet-based application but is especially so for financial applications such as foreign exchange trading.
In recognition of the importance given to security, RTFX has chosen to use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) version 3.0, a state-of-the-art encryption system, to ensure that all client transactions remain confidential and client accounts are protected.
SSL v3.0 employs certificate authentication at both the client and the server sides for extremely secure communications. RTFX ™ Trader and RTFX ™ Web Trader certificates are delivered by our proprietary certificate authority to allow maximum control and privacy over client information.
RTFX trading platforms also use the concept of information hiding. This means that no client names or identifiers that would be meaningful to the outside world are used either within the application itself or in the communications between the servers and the client.
To further add to the security of trading, RTFX platforms use the Internet but do not use the World Wide Web. Instead, it uses a proprietary messaging protocol which is highly efficient and specific to the RTFX software but is meaningless to other applications.
With these layers of security, RTFX is confident that it can maintain its untarnished security record.
